Zack Gives You the Bad News

"Never mind that," you say. "When is help from the hospital going to get here? That guy is really sick, Zack."

Zack moves to the door, looks out at the bleeding man. "Wow," he breathes. " I didn't know people had that much blood in them."

He turns away. "The bad news is, they can't get here for a while. You can't imagine what's going on there. They have dozens of people like this. Maybe hundreds. We have to do something. He looks bad."

"But what?" you insist. "We're not doctors, Zack. We don't really know what we're doing."

"Right," he agrees. Then he looks around. "Speaking of doctors, where's my good friend Fran?"
