CLUE: Supply List 1 Nov 1833. The loss of the ship has left us with provisions as follows:
Unlimited water of very good quality is obtained by melting ice. The company consists of 29 persons: Cpt Torvey, Cmdr Eddington, Mstr Dermot, Lt Harding, Dr Thromby, midshipmen Bancairn and Smith, plus seamen Addams, Bancairn, Canby, Carlotto, Davies, Folkes, Grigg, Harper, Jakkelson, Jones, McAvoy, O'Shaughnessy, Pierce, Quilter, Riordan, Setterly, Tabot, Wylie, Yates, plus civilians Mrs Torvey, Miss Torvey, and maid Byers. --Signed, A. The extreme cold has entirely protected our stores from losses due to insects and rodents. Due to shortage of rum, grog rations have been reduced to 7/8 water.
