Foster responds:

All right then! I'll try to find it and prevent it from rusting further.

But he still can't find anything that's rusting, and in a few minutes the emergency hatch pops open. The simulation is over.

The investigation that follows shows that oxidation did not consume significant oxygen in Foster's pod. Your decision was not correct.
