One of our neighborhood's biggest assets is its mature trees. Like many other cities around the world, San Jose recognizes the value of these assets. The City has a Heritage Tree program that protects beautiful, old and historically significant trees.

One Heritage Tree is this old black walnut tree on Hull Avenue. It's in need of pruning, something that the property owners can no longer afford.

The North Willow Glen Neighborhood Association is beginning to raise funds to care for this grand old Heritage Tree. If you would like to contribute, or if you have an item to donate to our upcoming benefit raffle,
