Sidewalks on Spencer!

Gardner, Gregory Plaza and North Willow Glen are the three neighborhoods in the Greater Gardner Coalition.

Some streets in our neighborhood
(some of the worst ones) are getting completely rebuilt. Delmas Avenue between Virginia and Minor was the first block to be rebuilt (see report on February 2005 ceremony below). Spencer Avenue was finished in February '06 (see report on locally sponsored ribbon-cutting below). $6.5 million is being spent on the entire street reconstruction project.

With no funds available from the city, Spencer Avenue
between Atlanta and Willow threw their own
ribbon-cutting party in March 2006. Thanks Bill,
Annette and all the Spencerians that turned out for the happy day.
